This fishery is situated 6 miles west of Leenane where Sector 4 & 2 are fished from, is comprised of the Culfin River and Lough Fee. Access to the fishery take the N59 from Galway turn right on to R344 at Recess along the Inagh Valley then re-joining the N59 turning right towards Leenane turning at the second left heading for Tully Cross the lakes run along this road on your left. If travelling from Cor Na Mona continue west along the R345 on to the R336 to Leenane where you turn left towards Letterfrack turning at the second right after Killary Adventure Centre heading for Tully Cross the lake run along this road on your left. Lough Fee is the first of the two lakes.Fly fishing is most successful. The fishery is not known for spring salmon, but grilse start to run the river in June, with the run peaking in July. The grilse average 3-5lbs. Bank fishing from the shore of Lough Muck and Lough Fee can produce grilse and brown trout on small flies. The fishery gets a small run of sea trout, although they are not as plentiful as in former times. The lake have a good stock of small wild brown trout, with some fish to over 1lb. Current legislation requires that all sea trout are released alive.
